What is the Gymnastics Ontario Fee?
 
All Athletes will be charged a Gymnastics Ontario Insurance and Registration Fee of $41 plus HST. This fee is to pay for insurance directly through our governing body, Gymnastics Ontario. This fee is valid from July 1st until June 30th each year. This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
 

 
What is your Refund Policy?
 
For CLASSES:
  • In all cases, fees are non-refundable after the 10 day period (once classes begin). A refund will be issued within the 10 day period, less classes passed and a $50 + HST cancellation fee will apply.
  • A $25 + HST Admin fee will be charged for all cancellations.
  • Dated, written withdrawal is required. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
For CAMPS:
  • If cancelled before the registration deadline of the camp week, a $50 + HST cancellation fee will apply (e.g. camp week is Monday, July 15th- Friday, July 19th, must cancel by the registration deadline of Monday, July 8).
  • If cancelled after the registration deadline of the camp week, a $50 + HST cancellation fee will apply (e.g. camp week is Monday, July 15th –Friday, July 19th, if cancelled after the registration deadline of Monday, July 8th).
  • For camps, in all cases, fees are non-refundable after the camp day has started.
  • Dated, written withdrawal is required. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
  • Transfers can be made, free of charge, before the registration deadline of the camp week. Any transfers made after the registration deadline will be subject to an additional $25 + HST transfer fee.
  • Any late registrations (e.g. after the registration deadline of the camp week) are subject to $25 + HST late registration fee per family.
For ALL CASES:
  • If there is a medical reason, a credit will be offered (from the date the Doctor's Note is received) minus classes passed and a $25 + HST cancellation fee will apply. Dated, written withdrawal is required. Doctor's Note is requiredNon-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
  • In all cases, the annual G.O. Insurance & Registration fee of $41.00 + HST is non-refundable.
  • In all cases, credits expire after 1 year.
  • Classes & Camps are confirmed on a first come first served basis.
  • Classes & Camps are subject to cancellation or rescheduling at the discretion of Gemini Gymnastics.
  • Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal.
  • Make-ups for missed classes/camps are not available due to coach/ athlete class ratios.
  • Children must be picked up on time or a late fee of $10 + HST will be charged.
This agreement is subject to coaches’ availability. 
 

 
What Should my Child Wear to Gymnastics?
  • Children should wear comfortable, fitted athletic wear; they are welcome to wear a gym-suit or leotard if they would like, however, it is not required (no dresses, no jeans, nothing with buckles/zippers/strings, etc.).
  • All children are to have NON-SLIP SOCKS when inside the gym.
  • Long hair must be tied securely back and out of the face for safety reasons.
  • Please do not wear any jewelry for safety reasons.
  • Change rooms closed during COVID-19. Make sure to come in clothing ready to do gymnastics.
  • Remember to bring a water bottle and hand sanitizer that is labelled with your child’s name on it.
  • Please leave all valuables at home.
Gemini Gymnastics and our staff are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
 

 
Where Do We Park?
 
Please drive slowly and carefully on Stevenson Road; it is a residential/school area at 40km/hr, and on our road/driveway the speed limit is MAX 20km/hr. If your gymnast is late, please don't worry; safety is of utmost importance for our families!

Please follow the direction of the one-way signs coming into the facility.

Parking is available in the south lot. If all the spaces in the South lot are full, there is additional parking available in the lot west of our facility (across the road). Please do not park anywhere but in the designated, labelled parking spots.

  • Do not park along the curb or along the fence; it limits visibility and creates dangerous situations for the children and parents coming and going from our facility.
  • Do not park in front of the airport gates.
  • Do not park in handicap spots unless you have a handicap parking permit displayed on your vehicle.
  • There is NO PARKING on the driveway (other than in designated parking spots).
  • Do not park facing the wrong way on the road; all cars parked on the road are to be facing south to follow the direction of the road and one-way signs
 

 
What is the Drop-off & Pick-up Process? -CHANGED due to COVID-19
 
Upon arrival, please remove your footwear in the front lobby. Children must carry their shoes to the shoe racks in the hall way and parents are to leave shoes on the “parent shoe rack” in the lobby. To avoid congestion in the change room area, your child can arrive 10 – 15 minutes before his/her scheduled class time to wait on the bench inside the gym. Once your child is in the gym, you are free to go. All athletes must wait inside the facility until they have been picked up by a parent. Please pick up your child on time. During peak times the parking lot is crowded; please follow the direction of the one way signs coming into the facility and drive slowly and carefully. Many coats and boots look alike; please be certain the ones you leave with are yours.

 

We have designed a drive-thru drop off procedure that will be as follows: Parents are to drive into the parking lot (in one way direction according to the ONE WAY road signs) and proceed down to the entrance of the building where athletes will exit the car and line up in the designated area (Red painted feet on the asphalt, three kids at the time). Please keep your child in the car until at least one of the three spots become available to wait before entering the gym.

Please park at the back of the building or at the parking lot across the road. 5 minutes before class is over, proceed to the front, side of the building following pylons and arrows and be ready to pick up your child! Athletes will be dismissed from training one at a time through the change-room emergency door labelled “Camp and Class Pick-Up.”
 

 
Can I be in the Gym While my Child is Training?
 
Parents are not permitted in the gym unless participating in a Parent and Tot or Kindergym class. 
 

 
What is your Seating Room Etiquette? -CLOSED due to COVID-19
 
Currently no parents may enter the building unless participating in a Parent & Tot Class and have signed the COVID-19 Waiver at the front desk.
 

Parents are not required to stay, but if you would like to, we have a “Seating Room” located upstairs for our Rec Families. There are 3 large windows and a TV monitor pointed at the Rec side for your convenience (you can wear shoes upstairs, just not in the change room & gym area). Please help keep this area clean and tidy.

There are NO fast food cups/coffee cups in the building. All beverages must be in MUST BE IN NON-SPILL TRAVEL CONTAINERS.

If you have food upstairs in the waiting area, please make sure to clean up after yourself, as even small crumbs can become a pest hazard. Please remember to bring all leftovers and garbage (including diapers) home with you as per our Boomerang Program.

In the waiting area, please be respectful and courteous of others; if you plan on reading, please leave the seating in front of the windows open for those who wish to view.

Please do not leave siblings unattended
 

 
Do you Offer Make-up Classes?
 
Please note, make-up classes are for scheduled days off ONLY and will not be permitted for any other reason. Make-up classes will NOT be honoured during the first or last week of classes and will NOT be carried over. Your athlete will join a class equivalent to their own class.
